Aight now that we've gotten that out the way i managed to make it over to the roseland to catch the wrap up of the sneaker pimps tour. shout out to young IS on the hookup. i cant say i was blown away but it was a nice event. performances by jeru da damaja, epmd, slick rick and nas . check a couple of the flicks

A&Ring a Lil
I've known this artist for a grip. A lil grip, but a grip nonetheless. I digg what she offers the industry. Powerful voice, full range, writing skills and the only r&b single (mr. marvelous) on myspace I can tolerate. i'ma harass for some exclusives. be on the look.

oh yea....for my rock rap just blaze sort of personalities....check billie jean, axe (of the outsidaz) and smoke (axe's younger brother)....2nd track on the radio (not the myspace music player)....i can't front...lock and load is a present day jersey classic (the beat is hard, i wish the kicks...KICKED, but shit, still a hard track)....
Color Urbana
my sunday afternoon color workout consisted of examining the top ten hip hop (of which i picked three) web sites and their respective colour palettes.

here's hiphopdx's palette. earthy, temperate, militaristic yet non threatening. too dark for my tastes (i'd like to see more balance on the lighter ends of the spectrum) but i find this particular palette works well.
onward to sohh's palette. love the greens. fresh, very lively, rejuvenating and excitable. i would like to see a contrasting color but its not neccesary (some people like monochromaticism)
lastly allhiphop's palette or what i like to call "expression with darks." this palette is rigidly dark, with a dash of red for immediacy. i don't particularly like this palette but in my findings it is most representative of the state of urban color on the 'net.
S1 is color.
